I feel like you’re really there. other people aren’t. they’re there and they’re real but they’re not really there. I hate when people agree when you’re speaking to them. unless you ask for an agreement. it’s like they’re trying so hard to reassure you that they’re listening that they’re really not listening at all. they hear but they don’t understand. you don’t do that. you just listen. you’re really there.
